It all began with a search bar.

A few years ago, a son sat down to find a gift for his parents. Nothing complicated. Just something that would make them feel loved. He typed "gifts for older people" and pressed enter.
What came back stopped him. Page after page treated his parents like patients instead of people. Everything was designed to manage getting older. Nothing was designed to celebrate the two people who had raised him, told the stories, kept the family together, and earned something personal.
His parents were not a problem to be solved. They were people to be known. And nobody was making gifts that said so.

So he decided to build what he couldn't find.
He called one of his closest friends, half a world away in Indonesia. One brought the idea and the why. The other brought the skills to make it real. Together, across seven time zones, they built Boomer Gifts.
The mission was simple from day one: help sons, daughters, and grandkids find gifts for their parents and grandparents that are personal, sentimental, and actually theirs. Gifts that celebrate a life, never manage an age.
We opened our first little shop on Etsy, selling to gift-givers all over the world. But one thing became clear fast: nowhere did the idea strike a chord like it did in America. So we went all in, built boomergifts.com for the United States and Canada, and this is only the beginning.
